Industrial Safety Training Council
The Industrial Safety Training Council is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit training and education organization located in Southeast Texas. With locations in Baytown and Beaumont, Texas, ISTC delivers safety training and site-specific job safety orientations to contractors and employees across the nation. ISTC is firmly entrenched in the Petro-chemical and Refining industry and responds to the challenge of these industries by combining their acquired knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards within the industries with their expertise in training. This results in reductions in cost while improving the quality of required training and documentation.

Our Impact on Area Students
If a student is interested in a career in the industrial field, ISTC is an imperative stop on their journey into industry. We assist in providing these students with valuable insights into the safety standards and best practices that are vital for their success in the field. By participating in the Student Expo, we are able to connect with then early in their career paths and help foster a culture of safety and responsibility that benefits not only the individuals but also the broader industrial community. Our goal is to make sure that students interested in a career in industry are well-informed about the career opportunities available to them and the essential skills they need to thrive in our rapidly evolving industry.
Women In Industry
Southeast Texas Women in Industry is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that coordinates the week-long initiative that includes 20+ events meant to inspire and encourage female students to pursue careers in STEM. All proceeds will fund scholarships for female students going into the industrial workforce. Female leaders from the Southeast Texas industrial community will unite with the goal of mentoring young ladies in schools across the region who have shown an interest in STEM-related careers. There will be a variety of exciting events that connect students with female executives in a broad range of careers and specialties. The mission of SETX Women in Industry Week is to showcase the many career opportunities that exist within the industry.
