Careers
Secure the Bag
Member Experience Associate (Teller)
• They’re the first person you see when you walk into a credit union.
• Makes sure the money in the cash drawer is correct.
• Helps with opening and closing the credit union.
• Helps people in person, over the phone, or online.
Assists members with:
• Money transactions like putting money in, taking money out, and paying loans (for
things like cars, homes, or boats).
• Sharing important information like account balances and answering questions about
services.
Experience Center Manager
• Manages the daily operation of the branch, including opening and closing procedures,
achieving branch goals, building relationships with members, and solving problems.
• Manages branch staff (tellers) – providing leadership and training.
Accounting
• Prepares financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements and cash flow
coming in and leaving the credit union.
• Maintains accurate financial records, and pays bills.
Lend a Helping Hand
Loan Officers:
• Help members borrow money from the credit union, guiding them through the application process, approval, and closing.
• Help Set members up for success in becoming homeowners, business owners, and purchase other cool things like cars, RVs, boats, ATVs, motorcycles, etc.
Mortgage Loan Officer:
• Assists members with the process of getting a home loan for buying a house, making home improvements, purchasing land, etc.
Commercial Loan Officer:
• Helps members get the money they need for starting a business or purchasing business property.
Support Services Representatives:
• Provides support behind the scenes in the areas of member accounts, loans, products, and services.
• Supports other departments within the credit union
Virtual and Call Center Representatives:
• Assists members with resolving account problems, opens new accounts, and assists with regular transactions over the phone such as making loan payments, bill payments, etc.
• Assists members and potential members by explaining services, and directing phone calls to the right department.
Spill the Tea
Marketing – Creative/Graphic Design
• Creates fun and informative content for social media like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Designs flyers, billboards, and signs with cool graphics.
• Edits videos and takes pictures at events.
• Manages advertisements including digital advertising, radio, TV commercials, newspaper/magazines, etc.
Marketing – Business Development
• Shares information about all of the great products and services credit union offers at community events.
• Hosts fun events like golf tournaments, dog festivals, school career fairs, and Monster Truck shows.
• Builds relationships with local businesses, schools, and community leaders.
• Teaches classes on how to be smart with money on various topics such as budgeting, car buying, home buying, managing credit, preventing identity theft, etc.
Training Specialist:
• Provides training and support to all new employees at the credit union.
• Provides ongoing training and resources to all departments at the credit union.
Techie
Information Systems and Technology: Various roles at the credit union such as Network Specialists, Systems (tech support) Specialists, Programmers, and Business Analysts.
Programmers
Designs, codes and implements new business system capabilities to improve effectiveness and efficiency of credit union operations.
Identifies opportunities for improvement in current business processes and works with staff managers to implement enhancements.
Network Specialist
Manage all network activity at the credit union including the private network, communications systems, server infrastructure, and workstations.
Systems Support Specialists
Provides technical support to all departments at the credit union and ensures all workstations and devices are maintained and working properly.
Business Analysts
Assists with programming efforts, running reports, analyzing data and looks for opportunities to improve processes.
Fraud Prevention Specialists:
• Monitor accounts for unusual activity and suspicious transactions.
• Investigates fraudulent activity and handles fraud disputes by members.
• Provides education to other departments on how to identify and respond to fraudulent activity.
Compliance/Risk
• Ensuring that the credit union complies with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks to the credit union.
• Develops and implements new compliance policies and procedures.
