November unemployment rate for Southeast Texas decreases to 5.4 percent
BEAUMONT, Texas – The Southeast Texas unadjusted unemployment rate for November 2025 decreased to 5.4 percent, down 0.2 percent from September’s rate of 5.6 percent, based on data released by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The total civilian labor force totals 188,177, which includes 178,094 employed and 10,083 unemployed. In addition, over 6,800 job openings from different industries were available*.
Per TWC, household survey data, on which unemployment statistics including unemployment rates are based, were not collected for October 2025 due to a lapse in appropriations and will not be collected retroactively.
