Who we are

New in 2024

The Port has committed to covering the costs for four individuals per year to attend the Paul Hall Center for Maritime Training- Harry Lundberg School of Seamanship in Piney Point, Maryland. This unique program is free to attend, with participants making $5,000-$8,000 per month while in training. Upon successful completion of training, participants will be given a job aboard a U.S. flagged vessel, with incredible opportunities for growth that, long-term, will result in high six-figure careers. To raise awareness of the opportunities that exist in the maritime industry early, the Port of Beaumont, along with members of the Southeast Texas Waterway Advisory Council, have developed maritime activities for every level of education, from pre-k to post grad. If you would like to learn more about any of these opportunities, please email [email protected].
