Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas Youth Career Expo

The Youth Career Expo is an annual event held in February by Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas to introduce area high school youth to exciting career choices and pathways. The next Youth Career Expo will be held Thursday, Feb 8, 2024

Students participate in hands-on experiences while talking to recruiters and professionals about the needs of local industries. Local colleges, universities, and training programs are also on site to help provide a path to students’ desired careers. The Expo helps equip young adults to have a great life and earn a strong income while living in Southeast Texas.

 

Students can explore a large variety of career resources and routes, including:

  • Military recruiters
  • Trade schools and apprenticeships
  • Oil and gas industry
  • Various careers in the medical field
  • Legal field options
  • Engineering
  • Construction
  • Education
